The sports OTT DAZN is launching Saudade, its new Brazilian series to be released this Saturday, November 9th, which follows Brazilian football players in Europe. During each episode, a different football player will reflect about his current affairs, how his life in Europe is, how had his career began and the nostalgia they feel for Brazil.
Saudade’s first episode will be starred b footballer Willian, who since 2013 has been playing at Chelsea FC, in England. DAZN will also premiere the series second episode on November 9th, focused on Vitorino Hilton, which, since 2011, plays at Montpellier HSC, in France. All episodes will air weekly on the platform. The rest will focus on other players such as Felipe Anderson (who plays for West Ham United F.C. in England since 2018); Lucas Leiva (S.S. Lazio from Italy since 2017); Juan Jesus (A.S. Rome since 2016); Danilo Luiz (Juventus F.C. of Italy since 2019); Heurelho da Silva Gomes (Watford FC of England since 2014); and Pablo Nascimento Castro (Girondins de Bordeaux from France, since 2017).
Saudade is the second original DAZN production in Brazil, released after Sin Filtro: Flamengo, a seven-episode series that follows the Brazilian club this season. Globally, DAZN is also increasing its original productions offer, and this year launched The journey: Canelo/Rocky; Lo llevamos en la sangre; The Making Of and 40 Days: Canelo vs. Kovalev.
